About Us

From Orphan to Advocate

The Story of Our Founder

My name is Kintu Bruno, and this is not just a cause to me—it’s my life.

At the age of 6, I lost both of my parents and entered a world of deep uncertainty. No home. No family. No security. But through the grace of God and the kindness of strangers, I was taken into an orphanage. There, I not only received food and an education, but I met Jesus—and He changed everything.

Years later, after finishing my education and gaining experience in the media industry, God stirred a dream in my heart: to start a ministry that would give other orphans the same chance I had been given. That dream became Save Uganda West Nile Children Ministry (SUWNCM)—a grassroots, locally-led nonprofit based in Wanyama Village, Uganda.

This is more than a ministry. It’s redemption in motion.

“I didn’t just start this ministry—I lived the life it now serves…”

Founder & Director

🕊️ Our Mission

To provide hope, healing, and holistic support to orphans, widows, and vulnerable families in Uganda—empowering them through food, education, clean water, medical care, skills training, and the love of Christ.

Our Vision
We envision a Uganda where every child grows up with dignity, opportunity, and faith.
100% Uganda-Led
Our ministry is run by locals who live and serve in the communities we help.
Zero Overhead Donations
Every dollar you give goes directly to projects—not admin or advertising.
Faith-Driven Impact
We don’t just feed and educate—we disciple.
Relationship-First Model
We know every child by name. This is family, not a factory.
Why We Exist

You are not alone

Uganda has one of the highest orphan rates in the world. The effects of HIV/AIDS, poverty, and conflict have left thousands of children abandoned, abused, and hopeless.

These children are not statistics—they’re sons and daughters. Our ministry exists to remind them:
You are not forgotten. You are not alone. You are loved.
